Love the concept of the show, hate how in Australia they have turned it into "Job for the Boys".
The contestants so far that I have seen that have made it through have connections with the Judges already, back up singers, Australian Legends Daughter, who has sung on his album and had her own band or even a brother of a contestant that one the first winner on Australian Idol....
Now that is all cool but I thought this show was about unearthing new talent, not having people who are connected in the indu already in some way stry to take there spots. I have seen Jimmy Barnes already defend his daughters appearnce on the show saying that there is alack of venues out there. Yeah that maybe the case, or they really don"t want to see your daughter. You have given her ample marketing with stuff you have done Jimmy move over.

If you want to talk to somoene doing it the tuff way have a chat to him. He had the Australian music scene back in the 70"s literally shy away from him becuase of leaving ACDC and the power of the Young Bros...thank god for the internet and he is now doing gigs and touring. Just shows you how small the Australian music scene really is and this is part of why I think the Voice is a great show but not really fair to people who don"t have the connections in the Industry already.
